I can't help but think that Jedward are actually the perfect Eurovision act, and it would be sad to see them rejected by their native habitat...

(I don't watch Eurovision, as a rule, and I think I'm glad my mum phoned for an hour of it... Too much mediocre pop! Not enough silliness!)

I voted for Moldova and Georgia, though in hindsight I think I actually liked Germany best - but I couldn't tell because I was in a room of very noisy drunk people when she was on.

Outside of the lyrics, I actually found it quite catchy - if you're going to play pop at me, I like it a little more electronic and punchy, like that.

I agree. However, it seems that bland, bubblegum pop sung by beautiful girls with long blonde hair is what people prefer at the moment.
