Been trying to do some writing this morning. Have picked the easy option of editing the bits I've already written of a partially finished fic that I began way back in...2007, probably. Or maybe 2008. Anyway, if I do ever manage to finish it you'll all be the first to know.

I've also been surging ahead with my re-watch of BtVS from the beginning. Sorry, quinara. I couldn't wait, and Netflix just makes it too easy. If you're still going to do a re-watch, though, I will definitely join in.

So recently, I started re-watching BtVS season 5 for the first time in ages. Got as far as FFL then had to stop with no idea when I'd get the chance to watch more.

Last night, I managed three more eps, ending with Into the Woods, and have some thoughts about that ep and the end of Buffy/Riley behind cut.

Still love this ep, though some of the intercutting between the serious stuff and the Spike/Buffybot hi-jinks are a little jarring.

I just watched Something Blue. Before you say, so what, until I watched those Halloween episodes the other night, I hadn't watched any BtVS in ages thanks to the comics. They've really soured me on everything Joss-related.

Yesterday, I watched a slew of BtVS episodes for the first time in ages- Restless, OMWF and Sleeper and Never Leave Me, and it struck me in NLM just how vehement Buffy was in her speech to Spike about how she believes in him.
