Okay, so is LJ under attack again, or what?

I ask because the site is telling me they're still upgrading networking equipment and slow/inaccessible for that reason, whereas LJ Status says they're experiencing 'site slowness due to an increase in normal traffic,' which sounds suspiciously like another DDoS.

Anyone have any idea?

I get a blue banner on the top of my friends page saying "Currently work on upgrading networking equipment continues, so some users may have difficulties in accessing the service. We appreciate your patience while we are working to restore the access to the service."

:) I just had some, in fact. I was just puzzled by the discrepancy. Higher than usual traffic does sound like a DDoS.

But then again, I know maintenance/downtime was scheduled for last night. Weird.

Anyway, it does seem to be working a little better now.

IDEK. I can get on LJ, but I can't log in. Whatever. It's only been a week since the darned thing was working right, and I couldn't believe that they decided to mess with it so soon. Is it too much to ask for a month or six weeks of full operability? Really? Grr.

I can read my flist there, but I'm having a devil of a time getting individual entries to load or replies to post. Very annoying!

I was having a lot of problems yesterday, mainly with my flist or individual posts not loading. Haven't tried it yet today.

They're telling me that they have no site-wide problems at all, which is clearly bunk, because I can't get a durned thing to load. *grumble*
