Family Reunion Part 1

Okay, I've been hanging on to this completed fic since before Christmas. It's about time to get it posted. After what people said yesterday, I've decided to post the story in chunks that make sense, which means they'll vary in length. I will post installments two or three times a week.

Setting: This story diverges from canon at different points for BtVS and AtS. It's set approximately five years on from the events of Lullaby in AtS season 3. The action takes place in London, specifically at Down Street, a 'ghost station' on the London Underground.
Rating: NC17. This is a dark fic but not in the kink sense. The vampires in this story are free range evil, therefore nastiness is bound to ensue.
Pairings: Spike/Darla, Spike/Angel, Spike/Drusilla, Spike/OC, Angel/Darla.

Author's note: The idea for this story first came to me almost two years ago and was gestating for a whole year before I actually sat down and wrote it. Mostly, it stems from my fascination with the idea of Darla as a mother and it takes as its main premise, what if she'd been wrong about being unable to love Connor once he was born? What would it mean to have an unsouled vampire as your mother? As I said earlier, the story diverges from series canon at different points for different characters. I'm hoping that most of those points will be self-explanatory in the story but the main two to remember are, Spike never returned to Sunnydale after Lovers' Walk and Darla did not have to die to give birth to Connor.
British English spelling and idiom are used throughout the story. I'll put footnotes at the end of the chapters to explain things, if necessary - or people can just ask.
