Fannish trivia

Firstly, this entry on the recasting of the confusingly named Daario (it's the spelling) Naharis in Game of Thrones.
Secondly, this entry from yesterday about the Harry Potter/Ron/Hermione controversy (which wasn't really one until JK Rowling stuck her oar in, was it?) This second one isn't accurate in its definition of 'shippers, since it conflates 'shipper' with 'slasher', but still...
