Slight spoilers behind cut, should anyone need them except me, for season 1 of The Good Wife and the pilot episode of Supernatural. Not in the slightest bit profound.
I'm well into season 1 of The Good Wife now, and gone way past finding the Sainted Alicia annoying to liking her quite a lot. I also like Diane and Kalinda. The female characters in this show are just great, in fact. I'm even quite fond of Mrs Florick Snr. I like that the women in the show are all mature, some of them even more mature than me. :) Plus, beyond the case of the day, all the machinations behiind the scenes are completely fascinating. As I said before, US politicians and lawyers, as depicted in this show, are more macho than the toughest so-called maverick cop/lawyer in a Brit show, even when they're women. In fact, the only thing I don't like is that all the liberal judges in the show are either criminals or useless.
As for SPN, I haven't a lot to say so far, beyond, so people think these two boys are good looking? Very odd. Also, don't they ever put the lights on?
I know that female characters get a very poor lookin in this show. They're either evil, or dead, so I've read. So I suppose it starts as it means to go on.
