Misfits ep 6
Dec. 5th, 2011 12:36 pmThought I should say something quickly about last night's Misfits while I can.
Spoilers behind cut
Have to admit, I loved that episode, except for the slightly Jossian bit where Kelly and Seth finally get together, only for it all to blow up in their faces. Mind you, I twigged what Seth was searching for very early in the season and knew it was only a matter of time until he found it.
I suppose the whole thing did come across as a bit of a morality tale, but since it's one I approve of (Rudy learns his lesson re casual sex, basically), I didn't mind. I also liked Simon as Rudy's moral guide. He certainly needed one given his 'grey area' argument about having sex with unconscious women.
I also liked (I think) how Curtis resolved his dilemma (if it is resolved, which I suppose it must be), though shall be sorry if we don't get to see Mel again. And before that, Curtis's situation was so fanficcy it tickled me no end.
Anyway, looks like everything is going to get even worse next ep, and we haven't even met the new probation worker yet.
