True Blood season 5 Ep 7
Jul. 23rd, 2012 05:12 pmJust a quick post to say I'm still enjoying the latest season of True Blood enormously.
More behind cut, with spoilers.
Okay, there are some storylines that interest me less than others (werewolves! yawn!), but it does at least look as if they will all (with the possible exception of Terry's and Lafayette's, and who knows?) come to have some connection with each other by the end of the season.
I love the vampire religious wars storyline (so many interesting parallels). Some things this week made me laugh out loud, one of them being someone calling Salome Chancellor Agrippa (same name as her stepdad, of course), and the other being Eric's reaction to Norah's plea to join them. I also love Bill's apparent concern for Eric. It's obviously love. Ahem!
Elsewhere, though I have a nasty feeling I know what's going to happen next with Hoyt, I did enjoy the 'hate groups aren't all about hate' bonding scene. So true, unfortunately, as I'm sure any EDL member could tell you.
Finally, I think Pam's weakening towards Tara. In fact, I know she is. I think (hope) there'll be a lot more than raging hatred between them by the end of the season.
