Lol. When we were first married B informed our friends that he would be me flowers but I didn;t want them. A couple of years later I had to go interstate for work for a few days - our first time apart.

Guess who was waiting at the foot of the airport escalator with a big bunch of flowers. Teehee. It was so cute. So I average a bunch a year for now. Lol.

Maybe you should send yourself a bunch and then S might wonder what you've been up to:)

Haha, I'd have been wondering too, even though there have been some three reminders in the news today. Particularly funny as Lent starts the day before it -- better perfume than chocolate, I guess!

We don't celebrate it in my country... Thank TPTB. Don't need another phony excuse for spending money. But someday we'll cave in just like we have with Mother's Day and Father's Day and Halloween, etc... Grumble.

That's what happened here, except that we've always had Mothers Day.

I suppose we've had Valentines Day too, but it was never a big thing until recently.

Porbably true. B gave me chocies this morning. But he has always been a bit romantic that way. He used to write me little poems:)
