Mild GoT-related amusement from today's Guardian here.

Must say, some of the captions in the print edition were funnier than any of these, including:

Windsor is coming

and

I am Lizzie, mother of corgis, wearer of pastels.

Also, further down the list, I found this gem, which I hope even those of you who vote for the them will agree is funny:

The night is dark and full of tories.

She seems far more interested in the flagstones than the throne - probably wondering if she has to worry about tripping.

It was very funny on the news seeing the actors who play these hard-arse roles getting all squeeish about having met the queen.

Is it just me or is the iron throne really naff? Something made from the swords of your defeated enemies should be more an expression of dominance and less 'if I sit down wrong I'm going to prick my bum'.

I once had to set up an exhibition stand that the Queen was going to visit, and I was absolutely paranoid about the edge of the carpet. I wasn't allowed to get anywhere near her but, watching from the back, my eyes were glued to her feet and -- sure enough -- she tripped, but her entire body just glided serenely onwards and I don't think anyone but her (and me) had any idea what had happened. She has mad non-tripping skillz.

Not quite as intimidating as "Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains" but... it'll do. ;)

I wondered if she would want to try and sit on that throne. :)

Oh, the perks of royal position! Meeting James Bond, and now this. :)

The actress who's playing Sansa grew up into a proper giant! Wow. She's a beautiful woman but now she could be a match to Brienna. :)

I do, anyway. *g*

I also agree with dwyld, it really doesn't look comfortable. I'm sure they could have done a better job with all those swords - something both intimidating and ergonomic.
