My Fannish Year 2014
Jan. 5th, 2015 06:08 pmAs promised, the usual What I Wrote Last Year post. There's so little to put on it, though, that it seems pointless organising it month by month. I wrote two fics, one in January and one in December, both for LJ Comms, and eight ficlets for
sb_fag_ends prompts, one in January, two in February, then one each in March, April, May, June and December.
In the missing months, I wrote nothing at all.
Links behind cut.
First the two fics.
Buffy Season 8: the Awful Truth, Spike/Angel, PG. Written for
rekindlespangel. As the blurb says, 1600 words of sheer stupidity, though still not as stupid as the Buffy comics.
The Perfect Present, Spike/Drusilla, Angelus/Darla. PG-13. Written for
noel_of_spike last month, Fanged Four Christmas antics.
Now the Fag Ends ficlets, which (strangely) are all Spike/Buffy.
Alternate History, PG. Spike's take on recent history, for the prompt Billy Idol's Rebel Yell. 1000 words.
Dressed To Impress. PG. Set during Crush. For the prompt Samson and Delilah. 150 words.
What's in a Name?. PG13/R (for language). Set after As You Were. For the prompt Layla and Majnun. 150 words.
Death Wish. PG. Set during Chosen. For the prompt Tale of the lover who feigned himself a thief. 100 word drabble.
When Life Gives You Lemons..., PG/R (for language). Set during School Hard. For the prompt Lace doilies (and stuff). 150 words.
How Soccer/Football Explains the World. PG. Set post-series. Up a mountain in Tibet. For the prompt Snow Lion. 100 word drabble.
Irony. PG. Set after LMPTM in BtVS season 7. For the prompt New York 1977. 100 word drabble.
And finally,
A Thin Line. PG. Set in Sunnydale at Christmas in BtVS seasons 4, 5, 6 & 7. For the prompt Four Christmases. 400 words.
A-and that's it. You could probably read them all in fifteen minutes or so.
Hope I do a bit better this year.
