Agent Carter season 2

I watched the first two episodes of season 2 of Agent Carter today. Loved it.

Anyone else seen it yet? If so, what did you think?

Where the hell is Angie?!?

That aside, and reserving judgment for the two (2!) love triangles they set up right away, I'm liking it. They keep digging into the goodness of the "good ol' days", Peggy Carter continues to be awesome, and I'm loving Mrs Jarvis too.

Yes, I liked Mrs Jarvis. I suspect she may be the Angie 'replacement.' Which is sad, if true.

Unless Angie has a job at Howard Carter's film studio and we just haven't met her yet.

Also, I assume I'm not alone in thinking that Dr (or was it Professor?) Wilkes isn't dead?

Or not for long anyway.

ETA: No assumptions necessary. IMDB has the character down for 10 episodes.

ETA 2: It also has Angie appearing in 7 episodes. So she is in it. :)

Even if that's true, they could at least mention her in passing. I'll be a bit miffed if one of the best characters just got unpersoned.

I'm pretty sure Dr Wilkes isn't dead. Or at least not dead enough to stay gone.

It looks very good too, doesn't it? Very impressed with how clean everyone's cars are.

Also, though they're probably going to soft-pedal the race issues to a large extent, I'm glad they're not ignoring them altogether this time.

I usually don't watch series episode by episode and wait until the whole season is out, but I couldn't restrain myself with Agent Carter =)
Loved it so far, and I even got a bit of shippy feelings for some couples, which is extremely rare thing for me. Couples being Peggy/Dr Wilkes and Jarvis/flamingo, I ardently wish to see more of them both.

Fun, as always! I love Peggy. I am sorry about Dr. Wilkes, though; I liked him, and they were cute together.

Hmm, not sure I can get behind this one (though they do look a bit alike), because I like Mrs Jarvis so much. But Peggy/Dr Wilkes? I'm definitely with you there.

Me too - and I am 99.9% certain we haven't seen the last of him, no matter what it might look like at the moment.

I was much happier with these first episodes than I was with the first 2 in S1. I planned to make a few comments about it in a future post but I'm looking forward to more.

Also, re: Angie, I'd expect that she's still holding down the fort in their joint place in NYC. As it looks like Peggy will be spending the season in L.A. I imagine she'll probably just have cameos if that.

Well, IMDB has the Angie character down as appearing in 7 episodes, which suggests more than cameos, if true. We'll see.
