Agree completely that Pierce is probably the one pulling the strings and agree completely on why. Pierce being Sinnerman and they guy caught, being a dupe or his minion makes more sense. Otherwise the episode and the build-up makes no sense.
There was also a 'significant look' between Pierce and Sinnerman after Sinnerman was arrested, which must imply something. Not that I noticed when I watched. I just saw it get mentioned on Twitter. Welling probably looked exactly the same as he always looks so I missed it.
Every time he looks at Chloe that way, I cringe as well. The man is just not attractive to me.
Me neither. It's going to be really icky when they kiss, which is bound to happen at some point.
They couldn't have cast someone more interesting? Was no one else available?
Smallville does seem to have been inexplicably popular. Maybe the writers are all fans? I know they're BtVS fans. Though BtVS is a trillion times better than Smallville.
But I admittedly like the family dynamics/supernatural angle better than the police procedural angle.
Me too. However, I think they feel they played around with the family angle a lot last season so they should take a different direction. A pity. I really want to see more of Lucifer's siblings. And agree that his wings have been missing for way too many episodes.
