It's fun to read your review of this, since I've already seen ep 10 and know where they went. You guessed pretty much everything correctly. As usual. :D
I hate Tom Welling. Your description of his build is spot on, and that's also what I don't like about him - combined with the fact that he just stands around and says his lines without any inflection at all.
Ella constantly pointing out his hotness and the chemistry between him and Chloe is chafing, and it feels like she's grinding down Chloe until she finally believes the crap Ella is spouting. Argh. I hate all of it.
I do like that Ella can sense where Charlotte was, though. She mentioned something about "quieting the voices" in the Vegas episode, and I'm sure she has some kind of sensitivity to the supernatural. I like that because she doesn't herself seem to believe in it - it seems to be subconscious, and that's interesting. I would have guessed it to be more emotional and vague than "voices", but hey. I am up for whatever they decide to do with Ella in that respect.
I like Linda and Amenadiel, too, mostly because they're two of my fave characters on the show. I thought it was a bit obvious (and unexpected) how they were flirty with each other on the beach. It could have done with a little more subtleness, especially for Amenadiel. I love the actor, and I like to see him smile, but it felt too fast somehow.
