Talk about misdirection - I was expecting the big slimy monster to do a gross and violently sudden thing. Not something in the air that no one can see - even though that's how they blackmailed in the past.

Sniff. Surely Ianto can't be gone? But they did a major reset on DW not so long ago - two would be pushing it. And he looked pretty finally dead.

I reserve my judgement till tomorrow. Can they really wipe out so many core cast in such a short time?

I wasn't holding out too much hope of Ianto surviving ep 5 but I didn't think he'd go in ep 4.

I'm not expecting him back, have to say. The BBC do seem to have this weird notion that if a show is ending, they have to kill off everyone. And if good ratings mean they do bring TW back, they'll probably revamp it completely.

Well, the BBC have 'form' with doing that, though I'd be very surprised if they killed Gwen, because she's pregnant, and if they don't kill her, they probably won't kill Rhys.

Totally crushed. I had a bad feeling from the start of the episode. After it ended I just lay on my sofa and stared at the screen.

They did seem way too happy. That's always a bad sign...
