Hmm...

Spoilers within

...that was a good start, I think. The Beetlejuice-like Other Side continues to be sinister and somewhat unnerving. George and Nina are great together. Mitchell is extra specially tortured - well, he deserves to be - and Annie is as naive and sweet as always.

As for the new characters, didn't like the punk vampire ring master character and am glad he was very short-lived. Was pleasantly surprised by Robson Greene as the older werewolf (hard to blank his fortunately brief singing career out of my mind), and really, really taken aback by the younger one because he was the dead spit for one of my nephews. Very, very disturbing.

Oh, and Kai Owen's guest spot was hilarious.

I enjoyed it the exception of Leah, who really got on my tits.
Why do they have to keep writing these horribly irritating female characters that seem to have stepped straight out of Eastenders?

She just made me want to switch off until her bit was over.
McNair Jnr. didn't do anything bad though, did he?

You didn't like Johnny Rotten? *shuffles the eulogy of him she just wrote in her review to one side...* Ah well, we can't agree on everything.

Yes on Mitchell in purgatory!! It was a breath of fresh air to see some actions having consequences, with time spent really getting things hashed out.

And it was Kai Owen then? Excellent! I loved him; he did great.

I hope (not very hopefully) that the character will recur.

Ooh, me too, actually. I'm not entirely sure what he could do, but it would be amusing!

*pets you*

I don't think there was anything about this episode that I didn't like. I enjoyed Paul Kaye as the vampire ring master character, but I'm glad he was only in it for one episode. And as a long time fan of Robson Green (his acting NOT his music *g*) I was very happy to see him turn up on the show as the older werewolf.

I loved the Mitchell and Annie storyline, and George and Nina are fabulous together. Really happy that we get to see the consequences of S2, which feels like a breath of fresh air to me after the disappointment of S8.

And how surprised was I when Kai Owen turned up! So hilarious! :D

taken aback by the younger one because he was the dead spit for one of my nephews. Very, very disturbing.

I can imagine how disturbing that must be!

Yay for 'Being Human' being back. Very enjoyable.

I must say when I saw Kai Owen my first thought was 'are there only 2 Welsh actors the BBC ever uses?'.

I didn't even realise until he was staked that the punk guy was a vampire. I'm very slow.

I think Robson Greene is one of those people who is a better actor than his choice of roles implies. Of course I still think of him as Jimmy the cute porter on Casualty.
