Kind of. I'm about to go and do some gardening, which is nearly unheard of! If LJ would come back right *now* I would be most grateful as it's a little bit hot for gardening.

LJ status said it was "site loading issues" which now I come to think of it does sound a bit like a DDoS attack. Hey ho!

I've done just enough gardening to feel virtuous, but it's too hot out there now.

Apparently it's not a DDOS attack, they had a technical breakdown of some kind. Would be kind of ironic if after everything, LJ were to break permanently because someone tripped over that one server in the back of the room that turns out to be irreplaceable.

As a matter of interest, how did you find that out, given that LJ was down and LJ Status doesn't tell you much?

No, I think it's okay again now (just as well, spent all day drumming my fingers because I couldn't get at a True Blood d/l). It's still a bit sluggish. I think one of their servers broke.

It's still down here in my part of the US at...6pm. Has been down all day. I presumed they were fixing something as it had been acting up all week for me with pages not loading and so on.
