Observer Game of Thrones blog

Discovered rather belatedly that my Sunday newspaper, the Observer, has been doing a Game of Thrones blog while the series was on, with weekly reviews etc. Written by Sarah Hughes, it can be found here.

Spoilery, of course, if you haven't seen the show.

ETA: I like her Random Brit of the Week feature in the reviews. This show really is a Brit character actor-fest.

I quite like the categories she's divided each episode into. It reminds me of the tongue-in-cheek parts of your recaps.

The paper also had a little teaser for the show today in its review section, listing reasons to watch the show. I agree with all of them except one, which was 'Pioneering sexposition'.

There is indeed, along with lots more lovely Brit thesps. Very unsuitable for children, though.

Oh, thanks for warning. I tend to let my kids watch a lot of what I watch... they liked Sherlock.

I'm sure they're fine with that, but GoT has very graphic sex and violence. Definitely not young person friendly.
