LJ have pissed me off before, but this is the first time I've really felt that they don't want my custom any more. They've forced me to change my cheery old S1 layout that I loved so I can go on seeing the comments page in the old style -for now, but they're threatening to change that in the future, and if they do, having multiple icons will become pointless because that stupid drop down box is so slow to load and so jerky scrolling up and down (presumably, the more icons you have, the slower it is).

It really is annoying. It feels silly because it's like my fifth exodus to DW, but maybe this time it'll stick.

Same thing here. In the end some people from LJ I'd miss wont migrate and especially the coms.

But I think I might make DW my main journal. I have so little time for the internet (when I am not sick that is) that it might even be easier to stay active if I don't have to catch up with so many posts every time I look in.

Heh, I feel like everyone keeps saying that, but no one wants to be the first to take the plunge. (Though there are a few of us here full-time already.)

Really don't get why they feel the need to keep messing with things. They've only been making it worse in functionality for a long time. It works better for me now, at least temporarily, but it's ugly as sin.
