But you're so prolific, I'm sure you'll be fine. I am quite the opposite these days. I need to get a first draft written asap.

While we're on the subject, I'm having second thoughts about the prompt I've chosen. I was going to write a sort of sequel to my Drunken Giles ficathon story, but the tone is so different it doesn't feel right. Is it possible I could pick another one instead?

I originally chose prompt 16, but I might want to change it to 45. Or I might not. I'm undecided. :(

Or I could do both, I suppose, but I suspect that's unlikely.

Anyway, I'll have a think about the prompts business. I suspect I'll change to 45. Since it's unclaimed, it shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe I'll try and write something very brief for my original prompt too, more in keeping with the tone of the original story.

I think our comments have crossed. Could you hold both for me, then? If I can only get S to take himself off out of the house a bit more, I might manage it, you never know.

Irritating really. I've been writing fanfic for almost 10 years now. When I started, I had kids still at school. I managed to write fine with them in the house. Now, with S around all the time, I just can't do it. The only reason I got any writing done today was because he went out for a few hours.

I can write when my kids are around, too, but the husband needs to be occupies with TV or something for me to get anything done. He interrupts a lot. Says one sentence and then, maybe 2 minutes later, says another.
