shapinglightI slept really badly again last night - woke up in the middle of the night from a dream of John McCain winning (I was too scared to stay up and watch on TV). Managed to get back to sleep, dreamed that Obama won by a landslide. Woke up telling myself not to get excited, it was only a dream. Ran downstairs - and it was true!
Am so, so happy this morning.

I know Mr Obama has a very, very difficult task ahead of him. There are bound to be mistakes, compromises - that's the way in politics. But that's for the future. At the moment, I feel like I'm walking on air.
In fact, the only tiny niggle I have is for The Daily Show. Who is John Stewart going to make fun of now?
