True Blood season 4 ep 2
Jul. 4th, 2011 10:01 pmThat's more like it.
Spoilers behind cut.
That said, there were still some things in the ep I didn't like - notably Jason and the were-panthers. Jason is a sweetie. I really like the character. But I can't stand Crystal, don't get his interest in her and can't stand his storyline. A pity. Sam's is less bad than last season's. I quite like his interactions with his 'anger management' group. However, the minute Tommy turned up it went to crap. For one thing, my jaw hit the floor when Sam started moaning off about how awful shooting Tommy had been for him. Tommy brings out the worst in Sam. I wish he would get lost.
Otherwise, I liked everything, because most of the other storylines in the episode - from Sookie's to the various vampires, to the witches - intersected and complemented each other. Loved the flashback scene of Bill as Sid Vicious and loved the Bill/Eric interaction. Even the Bill/Sookie convo wasn't as teeth grittingly annoying as last week's. And very, very impressed with Alexander Skarsgard in that final scene looking all lost and bewildered as amnesiac Eric. I wonder how Pam will react when she finds out?
