shapinglightMost of the news is bad (as usual), but there was one good bit: the next James Bond film featuring Daniel Craig is about to go into production (after a rather rocky time when the production company went bankrupt etc). Have to admit, I squeed loudly when I saw that, which is not something I ever thought I'd do over a James Bond film.
But, as I have previously -probably rather shame facedly -admitted, I love Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace to pieces, and don't care one bit that the latter is all about Bond's manpain. For me, it's all about Bond and M anyway.

In other news, my taking a few days off at the beginning of this week to write seems to have paid dividends. Not only did I finally thrash my Nekid Numbers fic into submission (with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rebcake's help), but I think I may have finished the next instalment in my Spike/Giles retelling season 7 series, plus, in a fit of wild overconfidence that the writers' block might be gone at last, I signed up for cafedemonde's ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
rekindlespangel extravaganza, and I even have an idea for it.
Things are looking up. :)
