I was going to ask but forgot, did anyone else watch the BBC's two part adaptation of Andrea Levy's Small Island?

I thought it was very good, though parts of ep 2 cut so close to the bone as to be almost unwatchable for me. Was left profoundly grateful that I am not ten years older than I am.
