Well aware that everyone who was going to do one of these has already done it, but it's for my own information as much as anything. This year, I've only included fic, not meta, mainly because most of my meta tends to get flocked either right from the start or very soon afterwards.

I didn't write an awful lot of fic in 2009 compared to previous years - a trend that is probably set to continue this year - but I did improve my drabble writing (I like to think) and I hosted my first ever ficathon. So that's something.

2009 was the first year in many years that I didn't have a Buffy calendar. What I did have, though, was a calendar of Buffyverse fan art by [livejournal.com profile] sueworld2003, and I took it into my head to write something to accompany every picture, starting with....

January

Permanent Record, a Spike/Angel drabble, PG.

February

Another calendar drabble:

Rogue's Gallery, Wesley,PG.

I also wrote another drabble in February, which was sparked off by remarks of Joss's about possible appearances by Spike and Angel in the Buffy comic (he's a card, that Joss).

Three Is Not a Crowd, Spuffel,PG-13.

March

Another calendar drabble:

Professional Blunder, Evil Spike, PG.

The above makes it look as if I hardly wrote anything for the first three months of the year, but in fact I was still posting the last books of Age of Unreason on my other LJ, revising them as I went. I posted the last chapters and epilogue in April.

April

In April, I also wrote my first new fic of 2009:

Ear To the Ground, Spike/Giles R, a sequel to my Welcome to the Nancy Tribe ficathon entry for 2008, Safe.

May

I posted a new ficlet about that incorrigible little reprobate and creator of disproportionate amounts of wank, Fairy Spike.

Courtroom Drama, Fairy Spike/Fairy Angel R, after which I went off to London for JM's Marstersclass, a wonderful fannish experience and my only chance last year to meet up with old fandom friends. Looking forward to seeing some of them again in a week or two.

June

Another calendar drabble:

Like Father, Like Son, Angel, Connor, PG.

I also posted my major fic contribution for 2009, written for [livejournal.com profile] quinara's Plot Without Porn ficathon (which she's doing again this year, so sign up if you're interested, and why wouldn't you be?).

The Worst Journey in the World, Spike/Buffy, Wesley, R.

July

I wrote another in the Safe sequence, for [livejournal.com profile] summer_of_giles.

True Lies, Spike/Giles R.

This series is still ongoing and I hope to get back to it soon.

September

In September, I posted a series of horrid, kinky slave fics to my other LJ. You have to be friended to that LJ to read them. They're all rated NC17 and feature Spike/Wesley, Spike/Angel, Spike/Hamilton.

His Master's Voice

Team Player

Sight Unseen

The Scent of Despair

Hindsight

October

I posted another calendar drabble:

Atonement, Gunn, PG.

and Gift Horse Spike/Angel, Angel/That Would Be Telling, NC17, written for [livejournal.com profile] sueworld2003's birthday and posted on my other LJ.

I also hosted the Darla Ficathon, She Did It Her Way, Masterlist here

My own entry was Venus and Mars, Darla, Drusilla, OC Pg-13-R.

This ficathon really whetted my appetite for writing more historical fics. I'm going to get right on that.

What? I am.

November

Another calendar drabble:

Calling Card, Spike/Drusilla PG.

December

A final calendar drabble:

Camouflage, Spike, PG.

I also wrote a story for [livejournal.com profile] noel_of_spike, The Truce, Spike/Angel, NC17, ending the year on a Spangel-y note.

Or not quite. I actually posted a short ficlet on Christmas Day for [livejournal.com profile] sueworld2003's Christmas present, but since no one but her has read it yet, I'll include it in my 2010 post.

And that's it.
