The Fowl Holiday! Yay!

Thanks for the good wishes. It was a lovely day, filled with friends and food. No relatives (besides those you've met) and that was hunky dory. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm thankful they were all in their own elements, but it was rather peaceful.

I wasn't responsible for The Bird this year, but made 3 pies, a bunch of vegetable side dishes, and watched a movie about the spread of disease over a Thanksgiving weekend. Mmmmmmm. Makes me thankful to be snug at home.

That movie doesn't sound exactly festive. I'm glad you had a good day, though.

I did have pie in California (boisonberry), but it's still a bit of a mystery to me.
