True Blood season 6 ep 4
Jul. 9th, 2013 12:41 pmWatched this yesterday. Very brief thoughts behind cut. Spoilers, of course.
So Ben isGlory Warlow? Actually didn't see that one coming until Jason started having erotic dreams about him (and did we ever get to the bottom of why Jason was so tired and kept fainting in the previous episode? I can't remember that we did). Unfortunately, it hasn't made Ben any less boring so far (although predictably his accent gets more British the more evil he acts). I'm finding every scene he's in passes in a blur, like the werewolves scenes where I zone out every time, while wondering why poor Sam keeps getting stuck with the crap storylines.
Elsewhere, the Eric/Willa Burrell making-Willa-a-vampire scene was very erotic (in an extremely bad!wrong! way), but I think Eric's made a big mistake. He ought to have known that newly vamped Willa wouldn't be able to control herself. Her dad is probably going to stake her in the next episode, and Eric will feel it and not be able to help himself coming at Burrell for revenge, and getting himself re-captured.
Oh well, at least he'll be with Pam. Maybe being locked up together will give them a chance to sort out their differences.
Or not. Either way, I'm glad Pam stood up to Eric about Tara, but a bit bewildered by how stupid they're all acting, considering how dire the situation is. The only ones trying to do anything positive that had even half a chance of succeeding were Norah (that didn't end well for her thanks to Sookie's fairy grandad), and Bill (though describing what he's doing as positive depends who you happen to be - ie. if you're a vampire, fine. If you're not, Bill couldn't care less about you anyway).
But it's all fun, fun, fun, as always, and I'll take all the shirtless Eric I can get.

I also wondered why they just dropped Jason's sickness and did not explain it...
I'm glad it wasn't just me. I thought I missed something.
And I agree about Jason. He's a cutie in every way.
