True Blood season 6 ep 5
Jul. 15th, 2013 02:47 pmWell, it's definitely getting nuttier.
Spoilers behind cut.
By which I mean all the stuff with Bilith, Warlow, Sookie, Possessed!Lafayette etc. Have to admit, I was absolutely in hysterics in the scenes set in 3000 BC, or whatever. I thought I'd started watching Conan the Barbarian by accident.
Heights of ridiculousness apart, though, I enjoyed all the scenes set at the vampire detention centre. No idea what will happen next, or if I should really be so confident that Eric and Pam won't be able to bring themselves to kill each other. Pam does seem terribly, terribly angry with Eric still, and I've completely lost track as to why, except that it's something to do with Norah (who was conspicuous by her absence).
I liked Tara protecting Jessica, but I hope Jessica pulls herself together soon. Tara shouldn't have to be the strong one all the time.
The other storylines - particularly anything to do with the werewolves - just passed me by, I'm afraid. What happened in them again?
Oh, that's right. Poor Andy! And WTF, Terry? What are you thinking? Also, I see dear little Jason's had a bright idea again. This going undercover to help Jessica will work fine, of course, until he - inevitably - bumps into Sarah Newlin at the camp. Which he's bound to.

Date: 2013-07-23 06:19 pm (UTC)Watched last night and the vamp detention centre was so Initiative-ish I was a very happy fangirl.
And yes, could the 3,000 BC nonsense be any sillier? I especially liked that the very bewigged chaps had all had their chests waxed recently, apart from Warlow. I assume that's how we're meant to know he's inherently evil.

Heh! I put that down to the Warlow actor being a clueless Brit.
