shapinglightI know I said I wouldn't say any more about this show unless I thought it had improved, but I do actually think ep 2 was better than ep 1, so anyway...
I've conceived an intense hatred of Agent Ward. I want him to die!!!

Date: 2013-10-04 09:24 pm (UTC)They're all pretty boring-faced, but he's definitely the worst. He looks like a plastic-y Donny Osmond clone without the charisma that terrible 70s fashion gave Donny (if you like that kind of thing).

There is an element of that, though at least Ballard had the grace to be majorly creepy. Ward doesn't even have that.

Date: 2013-10-05 04:42 pm (UTC)I'm not sure now why I thought this ep was better than the first. It could be because, apart from Ward, I wasn't quite as annoyed by the bland kids playing Sky (Skye?), Fitz and Simmons.
On the other hand, Mrs Smouldering South American Stereotype who couldn't keep her shirt buttoned was annoying enough for all of them.

I watched The Crazy Ones for about 10 minutes and could take no more.

Date: 2013-10-05 04:45 pm (UTC)Though I suppose he probably has very little to do with it. His brother and sis in law are show runners, I believe, not him. He's probably as involved with the show on a day to day basis as he is with the Buffy comics. ie. hardly at all.

I can't see it getting cancelled, when it can have Samuel L Jackson cameos in it.

That would have removed two annoying characters from the cast (Ward and Skye (Sky?) in one fell swoop.
