I appreciate that I seem particularly hard to please at the moment, but hoo, boy, that Star Trek film was awful!

I agree completely.

Which one?

I saw that one in iMax and 3D. Still didn't help.

So....Nemesis, Undiscovered Country, Generations, or that one that James Marsters auditioned for back in 2002?

For some reason, I keep wanting to call that one Nemesis...

My least favorite was the one with the devil, where they go across the frontier of heaven and hell? but I can't remember which one that was. (I think it was the last one with the whole team?) No one has come close to how bad that movie was - I saw it in the movie theater.

It was Star Trek: The Final Frontier.

(Actually Undiscovered Country was one of the better ones.)

"Spock's half-brother (Laurence Luckinbill) believes he is summoned by God, and hijacks the brand-new (and problem-ridden) Enterprise-A to take it through the Great Barrier, at the center of the Milky Way, beyond which he believes his maker waits for him. Meanwhile, a young and vain Klingon captain (Todd Bryant), seeking glory in what he views as an opportunity to avenge his people of the deaths of their crewmen on Genesis, sets his sights on Kirk."

[And yes, I've seen all of them. My favorites were Wrath of Khan,
Voyage Home, Undiscovered Country, Generations, and First Contact.

The worst films were Into Darkness, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Nemesis, Insurrection, and Final Frontier (seriously it is amongst the worst science fiction films ever made - nothing beats it). Actually Into Darkness wasn't all that bad in comparison to Final Frontier, Nemesis, Insurrection (which I can't even remember) and The Motion Picture (which was just dull).]

Haha, I was going to ask which of the reboot films you were asking about but then I realized it didn't matter. Waste of a good cast and a sad progression for a once good franchise.

I've been thinking about watching them new reboots... Maybe I shouldn't?
