I've realised that I never linked from my personal LJ to my stories for [livejournal.com profile] iwry_marathon and [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy, so I'm doing it now.

Fixers
Written for the IWRY Marathon
Pairing: Buffy/Angel
Rating: PG
Setting: Post-AtS season 5
Mostly fluffy.

A Matter of Time
Written for the November round of [livejournal.com profile] seasonal_spuffy
Pairing: Buffy/Spike
Rating: PG
Setting: Post-series
Also mostly fluffy

Currently trying to get something done for [livejournal.com profile] noel_of_spike. Suspect that may end up being on the fluffy side too. ;)

Speaking of fluffy(ish), boy, I miss Lucifer, to the extent that I've started watching Lucifer fanvids and rolling my eyes a bit at the fact that Lucifer/Chloe 'shippers call their 'ship Deckerstar.

Mmmm. Yummy. Of course, you remind me that I need to make a similar post because I've been very scattered about posting.

Also, must get some things together for sb_fag_ends and noel_of_spike, and finish up those WIPS of mine.

We are about halfway through Lucifer S1, and I am so enjoying it. It's sort of a supernaturally themed Castle, and since that's gone, it's nice to have something to take its place in the charming rogue/super-competent woman slot. Plus, MiAmor thinks that psychiatrist is my spirit animal. Heh.

I'm going to go see how the Bangels took your iwry fic...

Neither of us read "Lucifer". I read a lot of "Constantine" back in the day, and I guess I felt that was enough of that sort of thing. Or something. It just wasn't on the radar. When I'm watching the show, I sometimes get a flash of "I'll bet they took that straight from the comic". Awwww.

I see the usefulness of AO3 for ficathons, but the feedback is usually far too sparse.

I miss Lucifer too.

Both fics are lovely. I particularly like good old inarticulate Angel, and it's just precious that Spike loves Buffy enough to want what will make HER, happy, i.e., Angel. Isn't that the definition of love - to want what makes the beloved happy.

And Illyria is a hoot. I like thinking of Spike as her pet.

The other fic I liked, but I hate beards. Any kind of facial hair - ish. But it's a good story, don't get me wrong.

I loved how A Matter of Time seemed like it was going to be a fluffy story at the start and then became deeper as the tale spilled out, then circles back again to changes for the good and bad. I enjoyed the read.

"Take this." Illyria slung Buffy down unceremoniously onto the couch Angel was hiding behind. "My pet tells me that you and this female mortal are 'doing his head in' and the only way to heal his affliction is to bring her to you and let you 'slug it out' in person."

Illyria tilted her head to one side and treated Angel to her best indigo-eyed death glare.

"I do not understand any of these terms," she pronounced, crossly, "least of all why you wish to fling molluscs at each other, but you will desist from interfering with my property on pain of an eternity of suffering the like of which you cannot conceive. I will not warn you again."

Cameos by Illyria are never not enjoyable.

Authors are often their own worst critics. If Tumblr were less useless in locating information I'd link you to a great graphic I saw there, where the stick figure author was reading someone else's work and feeling down because their story was very much like that one but they thought it wasn't as good. Then in the next panel the fanfic reader saw the stories and was super excited because there were TWO OF THEM!
