New Lucifer season 3 trailer

Been away a lot, then had visitors a lot. Too tired to post properly just now (maybe Tuesday?), but did discover there's a new Lucifer season 3 trailer on YouTube

Looks like Lucifer is going to go ahead with his decision to show Chloe who he really is. So, calling it now, how much do you want to bet that after the final scene in this trailer, he'll find he can't show his true face to Chloe even if he wants to? Just like his 'desire' powers don't work on her, and being in her presence makes him mortal and vulnerable?

If I'm right, I'll be slightly miffed, have to say, as it means the Chloe not believing he's really the Devil thing can be dragged out indefinitely - for the entirety of the show until it gets cancelled even. Also, it's a bit inconsistent, isn't it, given that Lucifer has demonstrated his super-strength in front of Chloe several times.

I still bet I'm right, though, while hoping to be wrong.

Never got around to a GoT review last week. Planning to do a review for the last two episodes together - hopefully tomorrow night.

I suspect you are right. They just might go for something more unpredictable - I would really like to have her believeing he comes from some horrible Mafia family or something - but I'm not really expecting that.

How long after it airs in the States will we get it on Amazon UK?

So the new season starts on my birthday! :D

I shall try not to prejudge them. Everything they did with Mum was far more interesting than I had predicted, and they haven't dragged out the will they/won't they stuff with Lucifer and Chloe to anything like the extent I was expecting.

Well, I always thought the stuff with mum was going to be interesting. I was absolutely thrilled with Lucifer's last line in season 1 (about who had escaped from hell). Couldn't wait to see what they made of it.

I am excited about season 3, but the addition of Tom Block-of-Wood Welling to the cast as this police lieutenant has tempered my excitement. I think the cast is big enough already. I don't want to see Amenadiel squeezed out more than he has been, or Ella and Dan sidelined because they're sticking in extra scenes for this new character.

Oh well, we'll see. Shouldn't pre-judge, as you say.

Also intrigued by the shot that looks like Lucifer's wings in a bag. I do hope he isn't going to cut them straight off again.

Whatever the shot suggests I'm pretty sure he won't do that. What would be the point of him getting them back at all in that case?

Perhaps he'll cut them off but add velcro for when he needs them.

Further to this, maybe Lucifer does cut his wings off again as soon as he can but maybe they grow back again, and again, and again, because 'Dad' wants him to keep them for the moment.

Does leave him with a whole bunch of spare wings. I suppose he can open a pillow factory.

What I am most intrigued to hear is some explanation of how they come out through clothes without ripping holes.
