I'm going away for a few days on Thursday and am at K's all day tomorrow, so shall be around even less than usual for the next week.

Before I go, a few quick words about other TV stuff.

Brief spoilers behind cut for Legion season 2, Jessica Jones season 2 and Versailles season 3.

I watched the last episode of Legion season 2 on Sunday. I thought it was brilliant. In fact, I've thought the whole season was brilliant. Every image has been like a strange, surrealist painting. Like I said in a previous post (or possibly in a comment to someone), it's a more a work of art than a super-hero series. If you get down to the plot nitty-gritties, though, this season has felt very much like the middle part of a trilogy. I'm so glad (if surprised, the ratings were awful) it's been renewed.

I'm also enjoying what I've seen so far of the third (and final, Canal+ cancelled it, the rotters) season of Versailles. They're doing the Man in the Iron Mask. It's great (despite what that snotty critic in the Guardian said)!

As for Jessica Jones 2, I've managed to drag myself through eleven of the thirteen episodes and have pretty much given up on it. It's so boring! I'm sick to death of all the Jessica/Trish dramatics, and the ridiculous stuff about Jessica's mum. The only character I still like is Malcolm. I wish they'd give him his own series.

I suppose I'll make myself watch those last two episodes some time but they're pretty low on my list of priorities - well below clean the kitchen bin and empty the vacuum cleaner.

Still working my way through the Sense8 finale. Still loving it.

Have a good week, everyone.
