It's tomorrow but it is also the "great migration" day here with lots of people getting off work early and hitting the road to relatives homes and so on. We are going to Jim's aunt's home (the one who lost her daughter to cancer this year) but it is just a short drive and we won't leave till about an hour or so before dinner *G*.
Yes, all us Yanks are taking off today. I only had a half-day at work and a lot of businesses are closing early since traveling on Thanksgiving can be hell. I won't have my laptop with me for the next several days, which is why I've been wishing other a happy holiday.
Turkey and sweet potatos! Woo! The gluttony doesn't get better on any other holiday that I celebrate ;)
A lot of people take Wednesday-Friday of Thanksgiving Week off, and since a many of them probably won't be online tomorrow, they're sending out their wishes for the holiday week now. But you were right to begin with, Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday. Thank you for your good wishes! Mmm, turkey...
