Hmm. I think I may have just finished the first draft of my Darla ficathon story. Of course, it's utter s**te at this stage. (I know I say this every time and possibly some of you think I'm exaggerating, but it's true. It really is).

Anyway, whether it's s**te or not isn't the point (though it is s**te). The point is that now I get to stop feeling like I'm wading through treacle, or trying to walk up a down escalator, just to get words down on the page and actually start doing some writing.

I actually completely forgot about this until I saw the post. Eep. My fic brain is consumed by my seasonal_spuffy and iwry_marathon entries, so I probably won't be able to come up with anything too lengthy for poor Darla.

Are you going to make a separate community for the ficathon, so everyone can orgnaize and post their fic?

Hi. Sorry to have been so long answering this. Was away, then lost internet etc etc.

I hope you can still write something for the ficathon. It needn't be long. I find you can say an awful lot in 1000 words.

Also, I won't be making a community as I'm useless with making banners/layouts etc. I'll just put up a masterlist post where people can link their fics.

I've finished my draft as well - only since it's about 2000 words all told I imagine it's not as impressive as yours. Darla does go on safari though!
