Prompts call

I've been conspicuous by my absence for most of this month for RL reasons, and I'm not entirely out of the woods yet. However, I do very much want to try and get back to normal - which would involve doing some fic writing. I have the next in my Spike/Giles alternative season 7 in mind, but I think I need to get back into the everyday swing of things before I can think about that properly.

So this is a call for prompts. Any suggestions gratefully received, though I would have to request they be confined to the Buffyverse, or the Captains Jack and John from Torchwood.

I can't promise to write them, I'm afraid, but some ideas would be wonderful.

Spike and Angel meet Captains John and Jack.

Spike has to buy a birthday present for Giles (or Wesley) which is also partly an apology for something.

Spike gatecrashes a party at pre-season 5 Wolfram and Hart.

Fairy Spike takes on the Cosa Nasturtium (a Sopranos crossover).

Spike takes Dru for her first trip on the Underground.

Probably won't do the crossover one, though. I'm really not keen on crossovers (sorry to crossover fans/writers on my flist).

You said you've never written Faith, and watching S3 I'm getting a serious hunger for some gen Faith&Buffy interaction. So, how about post-Chosen they get stuck together on a mission? There could be a motorcycle involved, or maybe a very nice sword...

The thought of writing Faith makes me gibber with terror, which is obviously an indication that I should at least make the attempt.

I, too, am eager to see a little Faith from you. (You can do it!) Here's a Season 3 thing I've wondered:

There are five episodes between Revelations and The Zeppo: Lover's Walk, The Wish, Amends, Gingerbread, and Helpless. Faith is pretty scarce, appearing only to do some Christmassy stuff in Amends. Maybe she ran into Spike on his way out of town? Wouldn't a Slayer-not-Buffy be irresistible to him at this juncture? We know he'd be catnip to her...and I'm not talking sexytimes, either. Though that's certainly allowable.

Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe it would be easier to approach writing Faith from within my comfort zone (ie. Spike's POV) first. Hmm.

Hmm. How bout a crossover between Jack and Angel and/or Spike? All those years they all spent kicking around Europe, I feel they really should have run into each other at least once. Possibly during one of the WWs.

It's certainly a possibility. Not sure, though. I have this disconnect in my head that makes it difficult for me to write crossovers.

The two captains during one of the world wars might work.
