Actually it's totally sad, but if I lived in Britain, I'd totally buy that (and I'd already know three RL people it would make very happy, sometimes I wonder if I'm the only person who has far more nerdy RL friends than online friends).

That makes me rather jealous. I have to hide my nerdyness from all but one person I know, apart from online friends.

Hanging with roleplaying geeks helps a lot, but I think my favorite rl/fandom experience was, when I found out that a girl I had been acting with for a year, was actually a ginormous Buffy fan and had written Spike/Buffy lovesongs for fun.
