No, he told her he came back from the future to stop her dying. And Future Simon did just that in season 2 when he died himself. He never said anything about her dying.
I had a different reaction. When my friend T and I watched series 2, the bits with Future!Simon and Alisha, we were convinced that Alisha was dead in the future. It wasn't in anything Future!Simon said explicitly, but it was in the way he said certain things, and the way he looked at her.
Then in series 3, as Simon seemed to be convinced that he could avoid his destiny-in-the-past and the time travel thing seemed to get dropped, we shrugged and accepted it; time travel is inherently messy, and we were willing to forgive the show for that, but it felt like a pretty big dropped thread.
So then when poor Alisha bought it in this episode, our reaction was "Ha! We knew it!"
Still sorry to lose both of those characters, though -- hard to imagine what another series would look like with only Kelly and Curtis remaining of the original Misfits.
