Okay thnx

Uh huh!! Or if you absolutely HAVE to be windy, at least just be a little less bone chilling!! Thanks!

I lived in Pinner, Middlesex for a year. Lots of tree limbs have come down in the last few weeks here.

A touch less noisy would be nice. I really need new double glazing!

The storm woke me up last night and created all sorts of worrying noises on the roof/in the loft that didn't sound good :(

Yes! A panel of our next door neighbour's fence is about to blow into our garden and they only had it fixed a year ago. Sigh!

It's extremely windy still here in the Midlands. This morning I had to go to Warwick University, and the amount of kindling (bits of trees) on the roads and paths was quite scary.

It can stop now, any time it wants to.

Sounds like you're living here! We've had two consecutive days of wind warnings (above 90 km/h) and had a storm last month causing $200M damage.

I live in a highrise at the west edge of our city, and we're the tallest thing around in most directions. Quite the howly-yowly we've had lately.

Hope you've managed to keep all your bits together!

We're getting to the point where the shop shelves all look a bit like Mother Hubbard's cupboard apart from locally grown stuff.

I might even begin to consider stockpiling coffee and toilet paper!

The wind has been howling here, too. It was amazing last night, wasn't it? It does seem quieter now, though, so thank you for giving it a stern talking to; it seems to have worked.

First week back at work and no sleep for the first 2 nights due to the wind causing banging and clattering. Not mention the rain hammering on the windows.

Extremely Not Good. Me grumpy.
