Looks like an orange main coon cat or mix to me. While not lion size they can be bobcat size, and weigh up to 25 pounds and they do have a impressive main. My 18 month Main Coon mix is devolping his main, and still has another 18 months before he completely fills out his large feet.
Ah-ha-ha, that had me in stitches, had a pythonesque quality to it. And it might have been a Maine Coon too! :)
But let me brag about this one which is real. That was a bear spotted on my company campus, and this time he tried to get in the main entrance! 100% real, I'm not joking!
