LJ problems

shapinglightOkay, anyone else having problems with LJ? Since yesterday evening (UK time), I'm finding that pages are loading very slowly and sometimes refusing to load properly at all so graphics aren't displayed. The log in page in particular is very slow (I log in every time I open my browser, as others have access to my laptop).
I raised a support request with LJ yesterday but no reply so far. And oddly, if I access LJ through the link in my Yahoo! inbox to my support request, LJ loads quite quickly. If I go the ordinary route, it doesn't.
Meanwhile, both Downrightnow and Live Journal Status are reporting no service issues. And some people on my flist report no problems at all.
Any of you experiencing site slowness, or access problems that you weren't having before?
