I had forgotten.



Watched an episode of BtVS for the first time since - er, not sure when exactly but when I finished my season 1 re-watch earlier this year. It was Pangs, of course.

Scattershot impressions:

Aww, Riley! He's so cute! And old-fashioned. Never courted a girl like Buffy before? That's so sweet and 19th century.
Aww, Anya! She's so cute! And funny. Very, very funny.
Aww, Buffy! She's so cute! She made a bear!
Aww, Willow! She's so cute, with the PC issues and the weird fuzzy jumpers etc.
Aww, Xander! Not exactly cute, but very, very digg-y.
Aww, Giles! Not cute, but utterly gorgeous. Yum!
Aww, Angel! No, wait a minute. Off you go. Back to your own show. Shoo!
Aww, Harmony! She's so cute. And that's right. Send Spike packing. Stand up for yourself.
Aww, Spike! Not cute either, but sarcasm will get you anywhere.

Ha! Mike started a tradition some years back that Pangs must always be watched on Thanksgiving, usually in conjunction with the pumpkin pie. And having actually had to prepare food for everyone this year, Buffy's obsession with cooking made me laugh a bit more than usual.

I always thought this was one of the series' best episodes too, which makes the tradition particularly enjoyable.

Lots of people seem to have watching Pangs as part of their Thanksgiving tradition.

It is a terrific episode- very, very funny and with lots to think about. I did enjoy it, and really must get around to rewatching some more BtVS soon.
