I'm having a good week with writing this week (the first in ages).

I've written two more parts of that Ten Years After story I started on [livejournal.com profile] sb_fag_ends in July (was it really that long ago?). It's now 11,000 words all told, but I still don't feel ready to post any more of it.

I've also, as I said yesterday, managed to finish the second draft of my penultimate Spike/Giles season 7 story. I've just made myself write the first few lines of the final story. I have this (no doubt mistaken) idea that I can in fact finish the whole thing for [livejournal.com profile] letsgetitdone.

No idea where this sudden writing spurt has come from. Hope it lasts a little longer.

In other writing news, I've started posting some of my longer Fag Ends fics on Ao3. So far, people seem to like them so I'm going to post some more.

Does anyone post drabbles on Ao3? I mean, real, actual drabbles, with only 100 words? I've written so many now (mostly for Fag Ends) and I like the idea of having them archived on Ao3 as well.

On the other hand, it also seems like a lot of faff.

What do you think?

Well, I started writing in AotB before I finished "Altered States", so I never really had a period without something to work on in between. Most of the AotB stories are much shorter, and most don't follow on from each other in any systematic way, so it was easy just to write a little thing based on one episode. The canon is very small though, and I'm not an expert on the period who can pad it out with a lot of details of everyday life, so I am starting to dry up a bit now. It took me nearly a year to write my latest one. But I've had dramas to deal with which sucked the joy out of it a bit. The people referenced in this post were all part of my community, and caused me a lot of headaches. http://lsellersfic.livejournal.com/223640.html

I still have no idea how many of them were actual people.
